The object of Logic City Jr. is to fill a grid with shapes in such a way that none are repeated in any row or column. The level of difficulty can be increased by the addition of rules regarding the shapes' colors. This method of play has been likened by the game's developers to Sudoku.
Logic City Jr. is intended to develop children's ability to think logically while being easy to learn. Increases in this capacity translate into those necessary to learn math, science, and computer coding. Independent reasoning, confidence, and concentration also improve as children play the game.
